I recently visited the Renaissance festival for the first time. It was fun and people seemed to be having a good time. It was when I saw the area where they had elephants, llamas, and ponies that I was very bothered. The ponies were used as children rides. They had no space from each other and were riding in circles as if they were a carousel. One pony s head was in the rear of a bigger pony. All day under the heat, it was 90 degrees last week. Each horse looked miserable. And the poor elephants...I think these attractions do not make the festival any better or different! Please stop it, they were in such bad condition.
