Nice doctor but horrible office manager. Dr Sattar...

Nice doctor but horrible office manager. Dr Sattar was great but my experience with the office manager was unlike anything I have ever experienced. The office tried to charge me $75 for the visit as opposed to my $25 copay. Not only was this printed clearly on my insurance card, but also I've been on this insurance over 5 years and never had this happen. The sweet girl at the front tried to charge us $75 at the end of the visit, but when I explained my insurance she sent me to the office manager. Long story short, I very politely told the office mgr that I would pay the $25 copay (like I always do at every other Dr on the BCBS plan) and that he should submit the bill to my insurance company. I told him I'd happily pay the difference if any knowing there wouldn't be any. I did not want to pay something, knowing I didn't owe it, then have to seek a refund from the Dr. After that conversation, the office manager told me not to come back and then pointed at the young girl up front and told her that he'd take it out her pay if this happened again b/c she should have charged me before the visit. Wow! That is very unprofessional and demeaning. I told the girl up front, now crying, that he cannot do that to her. It wouldn't surprise me if that office mgr had been illegally docking her pay.
