This bridge is spectacular the 1st time you drive over it. Definitely don't drive over it in rush hour, you'll hate it!! It's 400ft high, and looks like many of the bridges all over the world that use the same type of design now. It has high winds most of the time, and gets closed sometimes. And yes, it has tolls. Florida charges you, every way possible. And the cops really need to crack down on the many pickup trucks that are overloaded & have stuff falling out on the bridge & many roads here in Florida! Either tie down your stuff, or use a cap!! You're welcome!! This bridge also has many tragic stories. Put the name of the bridge on YouTube and also write tragedy in the search. Pretty horrific!
