Went in to get price on 1000 Mile service, $348. Asked the guy at the service counter if it voids the warranty, response was yes (it doesn't). I left it at that. As long as the work is done properly, and the quality of the workmanship is not the cause of the failure your damn right my warranty still applies. So $348 dollars, $110 in parts + $238 in labor. Keep in mind I paid mark up on parts typically 30-70 percent. I know whats involved in the service, I know how important it actually is. I kinda expected this response based on friends and co-workers past experiences with their service department.

More upset with the fact that the guy at the service counter didn't seem to care anymore once I asked that question, I mean seriously you think the mechanics in that shop care more about my bike than me? Get real.

On the plus side their parts guys are awesome, got me what I needed in and out fast.

"The Magnusson-Moss act protects
the consumer to the extent that a warranty repair can
only be denied to you if the company can prove beyond
a doubt that whatever you did (or failed to do, be it mods
or maintenance), directly resulted in the failure to your bike."
