My husband and I stayed for 1 night (12/27/19) at the Miramonte Resort & Spa. There were several problems with the room, including but not limited to dirty water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom. Due to this issue as well as others, Daniel, the night manager at the Miramonte, told us our 1 night stay would be comped. The next morning during check out, we were told that the front desk manager, Bonny De La Cruz, would be contacting Travel Zoo to arrange for a 1 night room credit. On Thursday, 1/2/20, I called Miramonte & spoke directly with Bonny who told me that she had already called Travel Zoo & we would receive the credit within 8 business days. However, we just found out that the Miramonte is denying the credit as there were no "notes in the system". This is an outright lie as we had the front desk clerk read us the notes during check out. Bonny also read them during our phone call & told us we would be receiving our credit. So, at this point, our impression is that the staff at Miramonte are unprofessional and communicate inaccurate information.
This incident reflects very negatively on the Hilton brand. We have stayed at Hilton hotels during prior travels and have never felt the need to leave unfavorable reviews as was the case with the Miramonte Resort. We will not be returning, obviously. In case you do choose to stay at this hotel, do not stay in room #713 unless you would like a dirty waterfall in your bathroom!

UPDATE - 1/21/19 3pm: Just spoke with awesome Front Desk manager Bonny De La Cruz, who was able to research, locate & fix the issue that had occurred. Thank you Bonny for your excellent customer service!! We truly appreciate it.
