<br/>Check in to the hotel at around 3pm. I booked 2x 2 bedroom suite as im travelling with a family of 8 people and we need kitchen to cook for my baby too. Now here are the problems/disappointment i faced.<br/>1) rooms very smelly. They smell of dirty moist carpet. Which made my baby sneeze a few times every minute. <br/>2) one of the kitchen door is locked. Eventhough we booked 2 same suites, the hotel front counter said because of some hotel policy, one of the room's kitchen have to be locked. <br/>3) Aircon not working.<br/>4) No hot water. <br/>5) One of the TV does not work. <br/>6) Toilet/bathrooms looks scary with water damage on the bottom of the doors. <br/>7) Outdated furniture. Yes outdated. I stayed there before in the 90s when the hotel was named Travelodge and Centra. All the furnitures and hotel/room design are still the same. Even the exterior paint of the building.<br/>8) Bumps and lumps all over the floor. I seriously thoughy the floor is going to collapse.<br/>9) Rooms seriously look like a horror film. Feel goosebumps every time Im alone in the room or toilet. <br/>We called the front desk for no. 3, 4 and 5 problems and they said they will send a technician to our rooms to fix the problems. But after 20mins, still no show. Call again and the front desk said they already informed the technician and will infm them again. 10 mins later still no show.<br/>Went down to the front desk and ask to change to a better room but said they got no other room. And after a family discussion, we decided to check out after 30 mins stay. <br/>When we were checking out, miraculously, the front desk offered to change our rooms. ( Thought they said no other rooms available).<br/>But nope, sorry. We dont want to spoil our holiday. We rejected the offer and check in to other hotel instead. <br/>* We contected Agoda regarding this stay and queried if we can get some refund. We were told by Agoda that during our checking out process, the hotel staff told us that there will be no refund. But honestly, that did not happen. Hotel staff did not say anything regarding no refund. My father is my witness. He was there with me. Im sorry but the hotel staff is a liar. <br/>Overall experience made me feel like the hotel is scamming us. Was charged $400 for 2 nights stay but was given rooms that was unbearable. Plus no refund was given.
