My Rheumatologist referred me to Pain Management, ...

My Rheumatologist referred me to Pain Management, since I have rheumatoid disease and ankylosing spondylitis and am in pain constantly. The only option offered was cortisone injections into my spine and pelvis. I already suffer from osteoporosis and cataracts (caused by corticosteroids) - why would I want more of this?!
Pain medication is never offered because apparently everyone that enters pain management is a drug seeker and discriminated against if they have a history of trauma and PTSD.
Nurses were disengaged and unfriendly. Doctor pushed procedures - he blames the CDC for not allowing the prescription of any medications to reduce my pain.
I asked my Ankylosing Spondylitis FB group if this procedure was helpful to them: 102 out of 120 responses said NO WAY!! About 40% of the responses stated the procedure was incredibly painful and caused them MORE pain. Wow - thanks McLaren for NOT HELPING AT ALL.
