Had heard about Groot Constantia. I new it was well known and sought after place to visit. It is the oldest wine estate in South Africa. (Founded in 1685) The Gardens are tranquil. I sat at Simon's for a cup of coffee with my students. It was lovely there. The warm winter sun spilled all over the grounds. One can sense the history and one can enjoy the present moment. Definitely worth visiting!
