My husband and I often travel around Michigan, and when we are by the lake shore, we like to dine at restaurants with a nice view of the water. Villa Marine had a decent view of Betsie Lake. But.....the owners must be trying to save on the electric bill because they only turned the air conditioning on once while we were there, and only for a little while. The temperature outside was in the mid 80 s, and so was the inside of the restaurant.
The food was just okay, but a little overpriced. I definitely would not go there if I am ever in Frankfort again. It was so hot in there, the sad salads looked even more sad because all of the lettuce was wilted.
Additionally, they do not have a drink menu, only a handwritten piece of paper for you to look at to order your drinks. My two stars are two thumbs down.
