Beautiful park and zoo with plenty of plants and animals of all varieties to catch anyone's interest. Very family friendly with lots of kid friendly places to run around. Also very handicap and wheelchair friendly with wide paths - most of which are paved. They list what every path is like on their website so you can be informed before traversing.
They also have special volunteers who are stationed around popular exhibits to answer any questions. :) They are truly awesome.
I also definitely really appreciated their interactive map on their app. so we knew right where we were at all times.
