After spending 2,000$ on equipment from Uplift, I opted to pay for installation to make my life easier. I payed 320$ in advance and scheduled an appoint with their installers at 3:30pm, as they were unable to install after 5pm without charging an additional fee (an additional 200$). After being told that the desk installation would take about an hour, but sometimes even 7 minutes, I opted for a 3:30pm install time as it would give me about 2.5 hours before attending other responsibilities. After taking 2 hours from my job and leaving everything set for the installers, the desk was never installed. At 3:45 pm I had not heard from the installers, so I called them. I got a call back about 15 minutes later stating that the installers had run into some difficulties and that they were going to be at least an additional hour late. No only that, but that the installation would take around 2 hours, going over the time at which I had another responsibility to attend to. They gave me no other option than to reschedule. I waited for a week for the installation, took time from my job that went unpaid, rearranged my living room, not to have my desk installed, because they ran into difficulties. I asked for them to reschedule my installation after hours, yet they were unable to do so without charging me an additional 200$, which they would not cover, despite them not being able to make the appointment. So they basically refunded my installation money and cleaned their hands from any responsibility. I m currently installing the desk myself and I have to say, the quality is lack luster. I m surprised I spent this amount of money on this equipment.
