I found the hotel room to be clean, looks like it may have been recently renovated. The only issue that I had with the hotel itself was with the key cards. I was given to cards to get into my room. I tried several times on both and finally gave up trying and started to head down to the lobby. I passed the manager so I asked him and after numerous tries he finally got one of the keys to open my room. He left me with that key and stated that maintenance would be up to clean the lock and leave a second key. I'm not sure if maintenance ever did show up as I still had issues when I got back from NYC that night and there was no second key left. The next morning I was talking with other guests and it sounds like it wasn't just an issue with my room and that they needed to have all the locks replaced.

As a previous reviewer mentioned, the bus to take you to and from NYC is part of the NJ Transit and there is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel. I was provided with a schedule and when the bus finally showed up about a half hour late I found that it was standing room only. As passengers disembarked at other NJ stops seats opened up and I was eventually able to get a seat. The bus drops you off at Grand Terminal in NYC which is an easy walk to Times Square. Do yourself a favor, once you get off the bus get a schedule from the terminal that tells you what gate to pick the bus back up at. When I tried finding my gate to get back in the evening the information booth was closed. There was a group of guys that seemed to be just hanging around and one of them was very nice and told me that I could get the return bus in the #400 section. The line to get back on the bus was long, but the buses seemed to cycle through the terminal fairly quickly so the wait wasn't that long and I was on the second bus out. I decided to take my chances when I went into NYC the next morning and drive, hit no traffic and found on street parking. While the transportation issues are not factored into my review, I feel that my experiences with the transportation should be shared so that if other travelers can plan their excursions to NYC accordingly.
