I will start by saying that the nursing staff and the surgeon have been great. The hospital does have an issue with the O.R. resources on the weekend. Just hope you dont have an accident and need surgery on Saturday or Sunday. 3 days after we arrived my husband has just been wheeled down to surgery. He is in a lot of pain and I have to commute an hour for two extra days. I feel bad about the hurricane victoms that had to be transported here but the hospital should have called in extra staff. We are the gulf coast. This is not the first hurricane! The downstairs of the hospital is vey nice but the rooms look very institutional. They could be updated. Stark white paint is not calming. I give the staff 5 stars. The administration over the operating room ZERO.
