I had a great trip, and the beaches are beyond beautiful, but this resort should by no means be classified as a 5 star hotel. Overall, the staff is friendly but definitely not that helpful. We ordered room service, extra towels etc. and nothing was ever delivered. The rooms are dated and extremely underwhelming. We traveled with a large group for a wedding, so I can say first hand that many of them have missing lamps, curtains, no hot water, and/or mold. The wedding venues are pretty, but you need to make sure you're okay with a very public wedding. They by no means clear the beach or swimming area behind the ceremony, so I found that to be pretty uncomfortable. They also offer the same terrible wine and bottom shelf alcohol at weddings which was pretty disappointing.

The resort offers everything expected from a 5-star resort, but just not at the level you would expect. The food is also terrible. I found a couple items that held me over for the week, but I by no means enjoyed a meal.

All in all, if you're looking for a fun, affordable vacation, I recommend coming. However, if you're a 4/5 star hotel kind of traveler, don't even think about it.
