The Dead Rabbit is one of the gems along the otherwise deserted area along South Street Seaport. It's split into two levels: the downstairs Tapoom and the upstairs Parlour Room. The Taproom resembles your typical bar; a long wooden table with plenty of beers on tap, but the best bet is to wait for a seat in the upstairs Parlour, which offers a specialized cocktail menu that's organized in a leather-bound book. The The Peach Blow Fizz is an perfect summer drink, made of London Dry Gin, Strawberry Cordial, Bittermens Burlesque Bitters, and finished off lime and lemon juice, rhubarb soda, and fresh cream. A number of savory dishes, like the Chips with Dip, savory pies, sandwiches, and more can also be ordered as well.
