You get what you pay for. Neither fancy nor a dump. Paid extra for the "remodeled" tower following previous reviews. Learned there are 3 levels of remodeling upon check in and for double my rate I could have the nicer room. No thanks. So, room was clean, bed was comfy, and staff were friendly. Cons, if you wanted the air conditioning on you had to endure a beeping/humming noise. Couldn't sleep. The shower didn't drain properly so our showers became baths within the first minute. Carpets in hallways we're severly stained, but clgood news was that our room was ok. Hotel: most restaurants were either closed down or shut. Buffet for breakfast was okay, I would eat there again. We ate at the "fancier" restaurant for dinner. Food and service were excellent. Didn't access the pool, every time we walked by only the hot tub was in use. Kind of weird that none of the kids were ever in the pool. We must have walked by at least 20 times. Kids arcade was a bust. Maybe 10 machines, 2 were broke. Usually occupied by an adult playing that guitar game. Stores: they are preparing for a change so most items were 50-75% off. So some nice deals on sparkly clothes if that's your thing. Downside is they didn't have basic things like chapstick. I'm assuming that will be fixed soon. Overall, If you have to come to Laughlin, I'd stay there again. It was the best of the worst. I've stayed at all of the Casinos over the years. Just pay for the top remodeled room
