Not impressed with the service again. By noon (on a Thursday), the place was barely half filled with guests. As I asked for their lunch specials, the annoyed sounding response was that everything can be found on the menu (Great! But why is there a chalkboard then on the other side..?) The waiter didn't seem to care as he abruptly walked away to welcome a single incoming guest (instead of sorting out our order) and then didn't even come back for another 5-10 minutes.
Food was fine, nothing to write about, with steak cooked to my preference. One would expect a bit more for the money of what guests get charged for an average order here. Somehow, Steak Frites St-Paul has lost the former flair, customer service and level of quality for me. Disappointed visit.
