My husband booked this hotel as a surprise for my birthday this weekend. We were both thoroughly disappointed. The few positives from our experience - valet was quick and friendly, the bath towels are generously sized and soft, and the room service arrived quickly. There were so many negatives I find it difficult to mention them all, but to summarize just a few - hotel was going to deliver a birthday treat to the room but it never arrived, the room service menu was severely lacking in vegetarian options (even the salads had meat!) and unwilling to accommodate small changes (no bacon? they told me I could pick it out of the salad!), the pull out sofa bed is one of the worst I've ever seen - I expect better from a Hilton, especially at this price point. I requested a blanket for my son and it took multiple phone calls and a wait of several hours before one finally arrived. Service in general from all employees was abrupt and uncaring. Housekeeping never showed to freshen up the room - we finally called at 5 pm and asked them to service our room while we were at dinner - coffee and toiletries were not restocked, floors and counters still dirty, towels on the floor... At checkout, there was a line of guests in the lobby. When it was finally our turn, the employee held up he hand and said, "Sorry - I'm going to lunch. You need to wait for the next employee to finish." Just ridiculous and overwhelmingly disappointing. We are Hilton rewards members and will probably switch to a different hotel brand for future travels.
