Great pub- used to be even better when linked more with the C0llege theme, offering Wyke Rarebit , Sausages with home -made mustard etc. Stayed when had Teddies on the beds. Wonderful.
Now seem to have too many rules and regulations which makes the place less welcoming- an arrogance from some bar staff - possibly due to the fact the place is crowded- and IMPOSSIBLE to get on the phone! The publicity says phone if have questions but it is NEVER answered and there's no answerphone. Please get your act together on these points which really spoil what used to be an exemplary pub experience.
