Best Gluten-Free Bakery around! These ladies have great customer service and their food is equally impressive! They take orders in advance and carry a very wide range of food, including muffins, cinnamon rolls, bread, and even pizza!

I have tried multiple over the years, but particularly loved the pumpkin cinnamon roll cookies from a while back. definitely worth a visit for celiac/gluten free diners in the HEB area!
This is one of our favorite and only places that my family can go for treats. Myself and my son are celiac and we can t wait until they are fully open so we can just stop by on a Saturday morning.
Pretty good gluten-free food here. The eclairs are fantastic! Their donuts are of the baked variety and are pretty good, although I was hoping for the fried variety.

I do not need gluten-free, so I do not usually gravitate towards something of a specialty of that nature.
I ordered the cinnamon rolls... which aren't truly cinnamon rolls. It is a super-sugary, incredibly moist (to the point of almost feeling undercooked) cinnamon "dump" cake. The filling fell to the bottom while cooking.
After I scraped the mound of iciing off the top, I could almost eat the cake. It is just way too sweet.
The only muffin option was a cranberry with orange flavor in a small cupcake liner. We arrived at 9:05am. Maybe they make more varieties during the day... I do not know.
However, for the price, I was severely disappointed. 3 rolls and 1 cupcake ordered to go cost me $14 before tax. And these aren't large pieces. For the price, we won't return. However, I gave 3 stars, because if you have to have gluten-free (and diabetes are of no worries to you), this is a local option.

We happened to be driving through Hurst this morning and I Heart Muffins popped up on google. We have celiac disease so when we see a gluten free bakery we pretty much have to try it. This place is legit. Super friendly owners and the baked goods are amazing! My girlfriend still can t beleive they are gluten free. So amazing!!
I was disappointed in the small selection of items. I just walked in off the street looking for a pie or something to take for dessert to a party and really didn't find much.
Sweet little shop. Best eclairs!!! This is the first reasonably priced gf bakery I have found. By far some of the best gf bake goods I have found nationally. They have perfected the cream puff, which is my favorite. My son loves their unique flavored cookies. During the summer they offered a watermelon cookie. Not my cup of tea but, the kids loved it. They always have something new and something for everyone. Moreover, the owners are incredibly gracious and friendly. Truly a gem.

It seems impossible that I haven't reviewed this before, because I have been devouring the treats from this shop for a couple years. I have never had a bad taste from anything, and have gotten extra special goodies for holidays. This bakery is all gluten free, but that doesn't mean it is only for gluten free people. My kids and wife eat things all the time since they like to stop and get me a surprise. Treat yourself to a cinnamon roll, you won't regret it!
Absolutely LOVE this place! Best gluten free baked goods i have ever had. Best gluten free bread also. And they offer many dairy free options too! Highly highly recommend!!! I have tried the other gluten free bakeries in the area and honestly, none compare!
THEY ARE AWESOME!! GOT SOME CUPCAKES MADE FOR MY SON'S BIRTHDAY BECAUSE HE HAS A LONG LIST OF SEVERE ALLERGIES. THEY NOT ONLY MET MY NEEDS BUT EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS FOR HOW THEY WOULD TASTE WITHOUT ALL THE OTHER STUFF THAT'S USUALLY PACKED IN TO CUPCAKES, ETC.. This is my favorite gluten free bakery. They have delicious goods at competitive prices. Over the years, I have tried many things there, and there has never been anything that I have disliked. They have such a good selection that every time I go there I can get something different. What I look forward to the most is seeing what kinds of donuts they have.
The paleo/grain-free sweets are great. The donut was perfect-moist, light, and super chocolatey. The best part was no sugar crash afterwards. The owner (I think) who helped me was super friendly. I love that there's a local business here in the mid-cities doing healthier and reasonably-priced treats. I will definitely be back to try more!
I m giving I muffins 3 stars, and it s not because their product isn t good my wife loves this place. My main concern is that they are always closed every time I try to surprise my wife with her muffins she loves. Today I arrived to grab the wife some muffins and now it s curbside pick up only. This place is great but they literally only have convenient hours for themselves and not the customer. I m sure they could careless I take my business elsewhere I m sure others can agree as well. Wish I knew it was curbside only before I made the trip over.
Had some work next door and stepped in for a quick breakfast without realizing they are a gluten free/paleo place. The place is kind of quaint and endearing with a charm of its own. The menu/prices and almost everything else is handwritten in chalk.
While it is primarily a bakery, they do have four or five small tables. The selection is limited, but sufficient.
I am neither gluten intolerant nor a big fan of the paleo diet, so usually tend to be a bit cynical when it comes to the taste. But I found the pastries and muffins to be quite nice. What I really liked was the fact that they were all the right level of sweetness-nothing cloyingly sweet-and light on the stomach. And the prices quite reasonable too.
Awesome awesome awesome. Love everything and in a dedicated gluten free facility. I don't know why they don't sell out by 10 am everyday.

Very cute place and nice staff. Good selection of treats but I ve only tried the eclairs and the creme filling is amazing but it s a damn shame because you hardly get any of it.

Went in early to try this place out and got 4 muffins. Our order was messed up and rang up at over 10 dollars. The muffins were probably the best I had, but were on the smallish side and I don't see myself going back here.

The hours on Facebook and google are incorrect. No one ever answered the phone. The sign on the door says call for assistance. The voicemail is just as stupid. Stop wasting people s time during a pandemic and update your information.
Edit2: I went in today 7-28-18. Everything has been revamped and is now much better than it was the Last time I went in. I will have to start going again.

Eating GFree normally sucks but here its not too bad! I Heart Muffins is a dedicated gluten free bakery that can cater to any sensitivity/allergy. They frequently carry dairy free and paleo options making it a very convenient stop.
Most of the pastries and other items are not quite as good as their allergen riddled alternatives, but they are the closest I've found in the area. However, some of the items, like the gingerbread, are better than what most other bakeries can produce.

I heart muffins is the best! My son's girlfriend needs gluten and dairy free food. So she was so excited that we found this place. The lemon cake was to die for. I have had several other treats as well and all of it was very good. The people also make it special! They really care and are very down to earth. The shop itself is quite inviting, colorful and bright with lots of charm.
I love that there is a gluten free bakery readily available in the Midcities. The paleo and vegan options are tasty, and my aunt has gotten me cupcakes from here for my birthday two years in a row.
The shop is adorable and I appreciate that they're a small business, but $2.75 is too much for a simple donut (especially when purchasing a dozen). The presentation was great, the texture was overly chewy/dense (like they hadn't risen properly or maybe they used too much agar powder or something?), and tasted bland (a strange between cake and yeast). I'm sure a better donut could be made without harming animals and the environment (i.e. vegan).

I love the coconut leche cake. Not sure if the actual name of it is something fancier but yeah it was sooo good yummmm. They are very clean here. (I agree that it's super sugary though. I took a star off for that.)
I just stopped by this morning after hearing about all the gluten free options and recently becoming allergic to gluten its perfect for me. Im always wanting something sweet. The paleo rum raisin cupcake was by far the most amazing cupcake I've ever had. All the flavors in all the baked goods are very bold and I love that you can taste all the spices in the frosting on the rum raisin. Classic strawberry is second best but just as good and it comes with little sprinkles which I love. This place is a MUST try! Kolaches are only on saturdays though but I will be back to try them!
I really liked this place. She offers a variety of paleo donuts, mini cakes, pastries, cookies, muffins. You also can get a cup of complimentary coffee or tea and water. Has a small inside seating area and is pretty unique! She also does cakes and cupcakes. A little bit expensive I must say though. Overall, tastes amazing!

Love the customer service, but I wish they opened at 8:00 am. Would like to buy muffins for the office, but i cant with the 9:00 time. Also, the product can be really amazing, or it can be on the dry side. I've ordered coffee cakes for Christmas, & everyone loved it. Muffins are small compared to other GF places. Also, cinnamon or dried fruit muffins tend to be VERY dry, but then there are the dulce de leche cupcakes - OMG delectable and addictive.
This is a dedicated gluten free bakery. Try the donuts. Our if they have them, the cream horns. Really tasty.

It wonderful that it's a gluten free place where you don't have to worry about cross contamination. However, a lot of the items seem to be a little to dense/moist. I did love that they have a pot pie that I can purchase instead of making my own from scratch. It was okay, but the filling inside was a bit watery and it could have used a bit more flavor, but I would probably buy again just for the convince.

Fantastic!! I was in the area on business recently and finding somewhere gluten-free can be a challenge. I am thankful I stumbled across this gem of a bakery. Delicious, flavor-filled, moist muffins every time I went (which was nearly every day of my trip). I was extremely impressed by the flavors that they rotate daily (ginger peach, blueberry, apple cinnamon, coconut, banana nut and maple pecan were just some of the flavors I tried). Even the day-old muffins (that they sell for half price!) were still as good as day one. I wish there was a location in Florida; I would be a daily visitor. Reasonable prices ($2 for a good sized muffin) make this place hard to beat. The best part-- they are better than any muffin I've EVER had, gluten-free or not. My partner, who ended up devouring as many as I did, said he wouldn't even had known they were gluten free. Go, and I promise you won't be disappointed!
Great place, and nice staff. The only complaint I have, is they always run out of sausage rolls, and cinnamon rolls too fast.
Love this place my son has a dairy allergy and we can get anything his hard desires here donuts sausage rolls cupcakes cake cinnamon rolls and I feel like if I requested something they'd be able to make it dairy free for him
The cherry cake donuts are amazing, and the sausage rolls are quite tasty! I love that they make wonderful GF and paleo treats. It's obvious I Heart Muffins bakes with a lot of love. Highly recommended!
