This was our first time here for our dog who was experiencing some distressing symptoms. I called before we headed there and once there I
called and a masked vet assistant came out and took our dog in immediately. They gave us a time frame of when the doctor would get to see her and it ended up being sooner then they thought. The doctor called us and was extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, and gave us options and then his opinion on what option he would recommend. He only did the tests that were necessary as to be cost sensitive to us. Although, he said if his treatment wasn t working then they would recommend more tests. She stayed for two nights because she was extremely dehydrated and they were going to treat her with an antibiotic and see if things get better for her. They were truly wonderful. They also will let you know up front how much things will cost so that there aren t any surprises. Our dog is home and I am so happy we took her to Metropolitan.
