Other than the incessant sirens and horn-honking (welcome to NYC), it was very comfortable. We actually slept very well despite the noise. Room was a generous size and bad was very comfortable. Staff wasn't necessarily friendly (except the house keeper who was very nice) but they weren't unfriendly either. They were helpful when we needed something. The bellmen were very fast and responsive. We felt relatively safe walking around and it's very close to nice restaurants, movie theaters, play halls, etc. Also, it was very easy to get an Uber / Lyft to go see the city.
