Unfortunately the staff always tries to speak English while we are perfectly speaking Dutch as we come from The Flanders in Belgium. Even when we answer in Dutch, the staff continues to speak English... sad... The lady at the check only needed two answers in Dutch for understanding she could continue in Dutch with us, the other members of the staff needed more answers in Dutch to understand or even did not change into Dutch, they continued in English. Hello, this is Amsterdam! You could at least speak Dutch and English to your guests. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was very good with lots of different kinds of meat and chesse also large choice of sweets to eat. Only one Asian looking lady was really cheeky and not polite to our table.
