I have been paying my insurance for years and never contacted Stover as I was never in an accident.

Things were positive (I felt indifferent) until I was called by Lauren and told my policy was being cancelled as I didn't pay my bill. I asked why they waited until the last day to contact me and did not get an answer. They said my mail was returned but I pay all my other bills just fine.. I don't know why they didn't bother to contact me when my mail was "returned" to confirm my address.

I switched to Geico, and they said they would give me ample warning if I ever missed a payment, and now I pay close to $200 less a year. I am happy with Stover's lackluster customer service as it encouraged me to look elsewhere and save money. I would not recommend Stover to anyone.
