I had previously worked in the hospitality industry at the hilton in downtown FTW so when i was stranded in dallas with a dead battery in my cell cellphone and unable to reach my ride home i figured the Sheraton hotel would be helpful. I spoke to the front desk agents, explained my dilemma and was given permission to charge my phone quietly in their empty business center. Minutes later i was greeted by hotel security and told that the front desk agents did not have the authority to give me permission to use their unused services so that i may reach my friend to get my ride home. I was broke, no wallet, no cash, no ID, and no cell phone to get the help i was desperately needing. Those same security guards then ignored my simple questions about downtown dallas while buying stolen goods from a vagrant on a bicycle while threatening me with the police. Every time i hear the word Sheraton or Hotel im reminded of my experience and i share it with anyone who is near me. Shame on you Sheraton. I'll never spend a dime at one and im doing my best to make sure no one else does either.
