I'm not impressed with team. I have a six year son that plays for RealColorado and he is light years ahead of his peers.

The Issues:
* You have to pay for absolutely everything. From the uniform to the soccer ball. They have made playing soccer primarily a game for the rich. If you want to play in tournaments you have to pay. Camps you have to pay. Any extra development you pay. We are not talking small amounts. You will pay hundreds of dollars. The older your child gets it goes into the thousands. This league is not for the children. The only thing they seem to be concerned about is the bottom line. I could understand if the league was elite but it is not. The U8 level is no higher than CYS.

* There are not enough coaches to properly train your children. In our group there is only one coach and about 18 children. I could understand if this was the recreational center, but parents are paying hundreds of dollars for this. There should be at least two to three coaches.

* No sense of community. The coaches seem to have their hearts in the right place but are not provided the necessary tools to succeed.
There should be tournaments scheduled within the price that you have already paid in the beginning. These tournaments should consist of teams from all over Denver. Bring food stands and other entertainment for the children. This is one of the ways you can make a dollar and bring a sense of community to the children and their parents.
