I've purchased comic books with Metropolis Collect...

I've purchased comic books with Metropolis Collectibles on a few occasions and never had an issue, until yesterday. I ordered a 9.8 grade Fantastic Four #276 and when I arrived at reception I was given the book but there was no Metropolis grading label attached. The book didn't appear to me to be a 9.8 so I asked to speak to someone who could tell me why there was no grading label on my book. A guy came out to the reception desk and I asked him if he could tell me if the book was a 9.8. This is the gist of our interaction... He looked at the book and stated that it definitely wasn't a 9.8. the black and white cover wasn't glossy white, it was off white. I said well, I ordered the 9.8 so why am I being given this book if it's not a 9.8. He said it was a consignment order and the consignor graded the book. That's a rather odd excuse considering the Metropolis website states all comics are carefully and strictly graded by Metropolis Collectibles under the supervision of the owners. This comic book wasn't graded by anyone at Metropolis. No member of the staff had even looked over the book before it was presented to me at checkout. So Metropolis is lying to their customers about their grading policy. And to make matters worse they didn't even try to rectify the situation. This experience was very disappointing and has soured my interest in comic book collecting. 1 out of 5 stars.
