I had owned this light for over 5 years. I am still using the original battery. I did buy a second battery so I could rotate them when charging. This has worked out well for me. I recently had a fire that destroyed my first light. I have just purchased a new one, I highly recommend this light. It has been very dependable not to mention it flat works. I use mine on a pair of Gargoyles. Buy this light you won't be disappointed.
