A highly unusual hotel that stands out in the design of its furnishings. Everything is well thought out in this regard and continues through the general public rooms to the individual guest rooms. The designer in charge was the American Karim Rashid, whose work is represented in well-known museums in the USA and France. I already find the reception in color and design disgusting. For the arriving guest it is a calling card that, in addition to the behavior of the staff, gives the first impression of what to expect on site. In addition to the design, the hotel is equipped with an infrastructure for musicians, which affects the "ordinary" guest less, but perhaps leads to unexpected encounters.
From a construction point of view, the protruding cube, which no longer appears unusual, is remarkable. Sergei Tchoban, whose name appears in several renowned buildings in Germany, was responsible as the architect. The facade made of highly reflective aluminum, glass and polished stainless steel gives the cubic shape an appropriate elegance.
An interesting starting point for lovers of architectural and geometric photography.
Those who prefer classic furnishings are guaranteed to be disappointed here if the expressive design doesn't teach them better. For lovers of design, it arouses the feeling of not only perceiving such an environment condensed in a museum, but of living in it.
A building that impresses me inside and out.
