My wife and I stayed at The MGM Grand for five nights in May 2019. The hotel is big and busy and bustling. The staff are friendly and the customer service was great. The choice of restaurants was very good. We especially enjoyed The Tap and the The Avenue. The rooms can be a little dated in some parts of the hotel. The view over the strip at night is lovely. The Casino is top notch.

WARNING: On leaving we had a very bad experience, they had charged us for meals we had not eaten. When I pointed this out, I was treated very discourteously by the MGM counter staff. Despite having kept and presenting all my receipts (some for the same day and time as the false entries) they treated me as if I were lying. I asked them just to pull up the signed chits, but astonishingly this is a manual process that can take "days or weeks". Contrast this to The Wynn which is a much more modern hotel with all electronic services.

It was so unnecessary and meant we left on bad terms.
