What an amazing organization LRROF is. I filled the application out. It took a couple days to hear from my local rep. But they are volunteers so I understand. Plus it s not like I am the only person trying to adopt. Well Martha was very flexible with my work schedule and she came to my house over the weekend. Couldn t have asked for a better person! She cares where the dogs are going to go and that was important to me. I picked a couple dogs and she said she would get back to me. One of them was adopted and one wouldn t be the right fit. She told me there is a newer dog and the foster thinks he s perfect for my house. She gave the foster my info and I talked to Danielle the next day. She answered every question. I think I kept her on the phone longer than a half hour! We set up a meet on Valentine s Day. I texted her the rest of the week with a million questions but she answered every one. I got there and Danielle was amazing! She introduced me to Onyx and I fell in love right away. She showed me how he is in every situation. I brought Onyx home yesterday and he is the perfect dog for our house. Thank you so much LRROF and especially to Martha and Danielle.
