This is a 3-star, very average resort. My wife and I travel extensively. For people that don t travel, or haven t experience real quality facilities and service, this may seem nice. But it s average. It s Sheraton quality - far from Ritz, Four Seasons, etc. by any dimension.

I had never been to a Sandals so wanted to check it out. I will not be returning. The rooms are outdated and with thin walls quite loud. The staff are calling it in and there are few authentic experiences. Up-sells are everywhere as well as the photographers - especially in the evening you can t walk more than 20 yards with someone trying to persuade you to stop for a photo. The food was decent but not great. The sushi spot was the best.

We found little use for our Club level booking beyond being able to skip lines at check in and check out. The fully stocked in room bar and room service was not appealing - we didn t come to an island in December to drink and eat in a outdated hotel room.

The highlight was the location. The grounds, views, and landscapes are gorgeous, and even in December the weather was hot and just what we were looking for.

Sandals marketing is everywhere and now I understand why. They clearly don t have a product that can sell itself.
