Mark Skarratts Review of InterContinental London The O2

Unless you're going to the 02 this hotel is a bit out of the way but it's certainly worth a try if you're going to Canary Wharf or an event at the Olympic Stadium. The reception staff were all very friendly and kindly upgraded us.
The room had a good view across the River, was very clean and had a brilliant bathroom compared to other 5* hotels I've been to, with a very nice range of products. The bed was very comfortable indeed but no hotel has ever bettered the range of pillows I've had at a Premier Inn.
Breakfast was very good with a broad range of options. Naturally I went for the full works and while I loved most of it I'd like to know why so many luxury hotels can't nail scrambled eggs.
If the opportunity arises I would take the opportunity to stay here again. Just as good, if not a bit better than the Times Square Intercontinental I stayed at in New York.
