In my opinion, it was a good exhibit. However, the main issues, which crop up time and time again in Tokyo, are the crowds.

I can't imagine any day when this place isn't busy, and everyone is trying to take a picture with nobody else in the frame. Unfortunately, this is never going to be possible as the place is heaving by 11 am.

We arrived early and entered as the first people there, but within 45 minutes the masses had arrived. Granted, we are part of the mass (that is not lost on us), but some people seem to take up more space than others (one woman and her daughter seemed to be taking pictures for a Playboy shoot in the fountain room).

In the lantern room you are limited to approximately 2 minutes and then ushered out, which gives you a little more time to enjoy the art with fewer people and the opportunity to take a picture of perhaps yourself and your loved one without anyone else in the frame.

Outside of that room, it's difficult to find any space for yourself to view the art as per the videos on the TeamLab website.

Still, it is really worth a visit.

There are drink and toilet areas provided in the space and they are clean and well stocked, so don't feel like you've got to hold it until you find the exit that you can't find :)

Have fun!
