Beach access has gotten out of hand. Have stayed here for the last 5-6 years in a row and never seen it so hard to find a place to put chairs/blankets out near the shore because the beach chair vendor had the entire coast line filled with empty chairs. Went to the front desk to ask what the deal was with all the signs on the beach and they said they didn't know anything about it. Hard to believe seeing how with a little googling a found several news stories on Destin news sites. Wish I knew this before I booked the vacation. Also worth mentioning, we went during the off season so I can't imagine what it's like during the middle of the summer. Boat slip prices are crazy considering there were only three boats tied up the whole week. Why not drop the price some and get more business. Pools, gym, elevators, room, etc. were clean as usual. Pretty sure my family will try another resort next trip.
