Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens is another wonderful natural space that combines the exhibition of animals and a botanical garden. It was founded in 1966 and in its 54 hectare area there are 1100 animals.

The amphibian collection includes axolotl, golden poison dart frog, Chinese giant salamander and giant marine toad.

Invertebrates include a hairy desert scorpion and a Madagascar hissing cockroach.
