Really disappointing given high expectations. Went for a Sunday lunch and was met by friendly and attentive staff. The roast rib and sirloin of beef was delicious, as were the accompaniments. This was let down by two poorly put together desserts and fairly average starters. We were also served with recommended wines which, if anything, brought out the worst in the food and vice versa. Sunday lunch isn't likely what the Michelin star was awarded for but I expected more from a restaurant with a reputation like the Box Tree's.
