Wow.. Had a horrendous experience with a salesman here.
Had to work with an unprofessional salesman who is way too pushy and lacks civility.

We initially visited this dealership last month to buy a RAV4. They offered me a good deal but couldn t finalize on it as they did not have the color(s) of my choice. Hence, although impressed by the price offered by the sales manager, I had to go with another dealer and make last time. Now, we were planning to get a second car, and went on to visit this dealership as they offered me the good deal last time. So, here it goes

Today, on my second visit to this dealership, the salesman (don t want to name him and get personal), initially started with a monthly estimate which was double the previous offer; which was okay. We started talking numbers and came down to a workable price after 30-45 mins of discussion. This pushy agent then reveals that they only have two cars with the desired trim; and neither of the colors were of our interest. And he started pushing us towards one of the cars. We thought of looking at one of the available ones (unlike the last time) and started to pay attention to the red car. After some more time and discussions, he reveals that the new red vehicle has approx. 150+ miles on it. Okay, this time, it is a big NO-GO for us. Personally, we were not prepared to go with a NEW car with 150+ miles on it. Not saying that none would prefer it, but we personally were not prepared for a 150+ miles new car. So, we conveyed the same message politely and asked the salesman to excuse us as this was not a price game anymore. Then this salesman out of desperation, continued pushing us and started getting personal and started making sarcastic comments on us which were really hurtful and way over the line.

I can understand that they want to sell a car, but I believe there is a line of professionalism for everything. I eventually had to call his manager to get rid of this sick salesman so that we can leave. There are many good people working here as everywhere else. But the sick guys like the one I ve faced today make the tangible difference to the quality and bigger reputation; especially in the sales industry.
I work for a reputed company and am responsible for a small team. I can take people who lack complete domain or process knowledge, but I would certainly think twice about people who lack basic manners and regard.
I ve left this place for one last time with an awful experience. I drive across this dealership often, and every time I see this place, I will only remember the sickening service. I will never be able to pass either a mediocre or a positive feedback about round rock Toyota to anyone that I come across due to this.
