We were very happy at the Rio. Yes, the room is dated and some of the furniture has chipped edges. However, it was very clean and the room is large. We had a great view of the strip and the mountains from our Masquerade Tower room. Food options are good, but expensive. The casino is great, but there were not any lower table limits. Parking is easy, free, and the location is great. You don't have to deal with the craziness on the strip. yet you are just off the strip and close to the action. Pool area is very nice and everyone we dealt with at the hotel was very friendly. Finally, you can't beat the price. How much time do you really spend in your hotel room when you are in Vegas? I can handle a room that is a little dated in exchange for a great room rate! We will be back.
