I don't think theres enough room on here for what happened to us. First off, I really like Big John the salesman. I bought a car from him last year and it was a great experience. My gf bought a 2014 Soul two weeks ago and I used Big John for my salesman. Alternator pulley broke off and left us stranded on I95 with my gf, sister, son, niece, etc. Called dealership and they said we were covered. After repeated calls to John and Mike the service manager and over an hr. later VDOT made us abandon the car. We had to continue trip to Nationals baseball game in my sons camry. There were six of us total. He came back and got us.....Warranty co. tried to make us pay before hand, they lied and said we never called them when I have a voicemail from two of them. Dealership had to pay for the tow on sat. We got dropped off on sun. and John got us a loaner quickly. John said my gf's car was first in line on sun.....Well, it wasn't. FInally looked at around 1530 that eve. Mike called and said he had to order an alternator and belt. Should be in tues. and car back to her today. 9/18. Still no call from Mike. I have called three times and so has my gf. Left a message with JR in service. He was going to have Mike call........No call! This is how I feel. I, or someone I know, have bought six cars from Pearson Hyundai. I actually told my gf that I would go to John whenever I wanted another vehicle. This dealership must be so busy that once you buy a car and its not a very expensive car where I know they didn't make much money they do not want to fix it in a timely manner. Three days we have called. No calls from them, no message responses from them. I live 60 miles from dealership and have driven this loaner to work on mon. and today hoping I could go across town and get my gf's car back. We were left on the interstate 3 ft. from the highway and 3 ft from the guardrail on a sat. morning on I95. We felt we were ignored and left in a very unsafe situation. We love Big John but after some thought, we will not be using any Pearson Dealerships in the future.
