An acquaintance suggested I try Frailey's because it was a nice place. I agree its a nice place. Its more of a family restaurant than a social bar. I was even discussing with my acquaintance why I wanted to go to places like this...to meet people. The social atmosphere. I was not impressed with the social atmosphere from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. I'm sure the social climate changes as the evening goes on, but it doesn't have the typical accouterments of the social atmosphere I enjoy: no bandstand, no pool tables, bar closed off from the majority of the dining areas, private dining arrangements.

Also the hostesses and servers were less than friendly. Jessica, the bartender was nice, but too busy to socialize. Even in the steam of chaos, the servers of my favorite places go out of their way to make me feel like the most important customer they ever had. I think Jessica did great though.

The girls at the door, and the support staff/support servers...ugh! The hostess just looked at me stunned for a couple of beats before I finally said "One please." They barely greeted me and both just kept looking at me like I had interrupted a critical conversation. I am sure they were also busy (KIDS EAT FREE TUES THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHTS), but I didn't expect to initiate the service.

Kids eat free is great...for people who have kids. I'm single. Looking for fun, friendship and romance. I didn't find it at Frailey's.

I think if you go to Frailey's for food, or quiet relaxation, you will be perfectly satisfied. But don't go during twilight to socialize, especially during the week. Its just too much like a fine restaurant.
