My wife was admited last night with sever stomach pain, and when the doctor couldn't find a problem, they gave a bs diagnosis. I tried to tell the doc she had what she tried to diagnose, and she has never been in pain like she was in. Doc insisted on trying her recommendations, and the nurse came in and said, " your papers are being printed and the exit is to the left and out the door". No explanation or consulting about meds was conducted, and when we went to get the script, we found out the doc wrot the Rx for a med my wife has a severe allergy to. When we called the hospital to get it corrected, they doctor on staff said thats what the normally prescribe and you would need to come back and be seen again to get a different script. If you have any allergies stay away from this hospital, the over night doctor apparently does not know how to read the allergy chart, and they could care less about fixing their screw up.
