Life is hard in this university! >> ( read it so that you don't regret later ) <<

I am sharing my experience, because I don't want other people to go through the same thing we did.

Make sure you are in the Civil engineering department or electronic engineering department or Telecommunication engineering. Do NOT come to Sirsyed university for the standard bullshit degree in Computer science or bio medical engineering or even better.
Sir syed is great for a lot of degree programs, but they have a lot of administration problems.

1. No sanitation, dirty bathrooms, leaking sink.
2. old outdated water filter system, unsafe water lack of basic sanitation. Students are consuming bacteria infested water.
2. Some classes not airconditioned, they get overheated and students and teacher get bathed in sweats, its difficult breathing, some classrooms have aircondition but 20 years old airconditioning system is used.
3. Limited labs, no place to practice! you won't get a lab where you can practice. No extra lab. There are limited labs and always reserved for classes.
4. so much disturbance! no peaceful environment for study!
5. No room to sit and study in peace. Libraby is small like a box and most times of the day its closedl. No place to sit and study at university.
6. Scary environment - live in fear.
7. 5000 students enrolled but no gym, no place for physical activity.
8. no field trips.
9. no proper canteen
10. tution fee has doubled - sky rocking
11. limited resoruces
12. no wifi
13. old style classrooms
14. The university is crowded with not enough resources for everyone even though we are paying good money.
15. Old faulty projectors, the university is not willing to spend a penny on buying new projectors upon many requests, still we are using those old garbages.
16. no playing field
17. And yes! Brace yourself for water shortage.There will be times where there will be no water in bathrooms.
18. Also don't expect a great library bursting with a selection of materials. Sir syed library is like a bird's nest. not enough for 5000 students. Its library is like a small box with nothing in it.

The entire management is at the boiling point and careless.

Don't be blinded by their promises of a high quality education and scholarships that they provide, as they do not practice what they preach.

Computer science department is worst of all. Sir syed does not have enough building BSCS students once enrolled are thrown into aligarh. horibble place, Aligarh is a third class institute full of goons it offers low cost degree programs. Sir ssyed mergance with aligarh is unacceptable. Every student that is enrolled in sirsyed BSCS department have to study in Aligarh. New building are under construction in sir syed but the administration don't feel the need to shift BSCS department back into sirsyed. they just want to make money so they are introducing a new degree programs in the unniversity. It's all about the money here, once you get past that you can be herded like sheep through your education.
