The hotel is in a great location, which is one of its main qualities.
The rest is less rosy ...
If the reception does not suffer from any big false note, it is not very warm. You're a customer, period.
I arrived around 9:00 p.m., and having booked via Booking, and I had specified that I wanted a parking space for my car because the hotel had it.
After 5 minutes of recording in complete silence, the receptionist tells me that I will be able to benefit from this service for 22 euros for 24 hours. Is...
I am also asked for a deposit of 30 euros. Sometimes I feel like taking the rough towels away, or removing the bulbs from the lamps ... (This is the first time I see this ...)
I am given 2 access cards to my room.
I chose to unload my luggage and take possession of the premises. The room is spacious, nicely decorated, although cleanliness is not what you would expect from a 4 star. (Especially the bathroom).
I take my car again, and I have to walk along the hotel in a very small street, to go to a parking lot entrance where I have to communicate my presence to the reception via an intercom. No luck, it's broken ... The door opens anyway (they must have seen me through a camera). So I go down to level minus 2 where a dozen places stamped with the coat of arms of the hotel are available. There is still one available! On the other hand, two cars are very badly parked and prevent parking in the last available space. So I have to walk back to reception amid the foul odors of underground parking. (Urine etc.)
I explain my concern to one of the hostesses present who fully understands my concern. I had the good idea to photograph the 2 cars with my mobile phone and I show him. We say to ourselves: "Search for license plates" and it's good!
Nay! Owners not found. We waste a lot of time ... I'm hungry ...
Hearing our conversation, the other receptionist told me to go and park on a site in another hotel which, fortunately, did not have to have a car to park. Rebelote, descent on foot at least 2, ascent by car at least 1 and on foot on the ground floor, back to the bedroom ...
10:30 p.m., I can finally go to eat ...
Let it be clear here that it is the organization that I condemn and especially not the behavior of the receptionists who had to do with the means at their disposal.
The night was okay. Note however that on Sunday morning, you should not sleep too late, because the "leve-tot" wake you up, so the soundproofing is light.
Really not convinced by this establishment, I will come back to write if the deposit has been returned to me. In addition, in front of my obvious inconvenience, it would have been judicious to offer me a free reduction of the expenses related to the parking. 22 euros is way too expensive for "that".
