I went to La Maquette with my wife to have a romantic dinner.

We both love french food and have dined in many, from Quebec to France.

The restaurant decor inside was inviting, I personally liked it.

The wait staff and front reception were pleasant.

We both order the Roasted Lamb Shank, and an appetizer of Camembert cheese.

The Roasted Lamb Shank was below par. It was cooked correctly, medium rare, however the flavor and presentation was bland, and the portion size was small for the price,

The Camembert was also below par, 2 pieces of cheese a little over 1 inch square deep fried with bland flavor.

I think this restaurant could do better, people come for the food and a new experience, for us it was a disappointment, the chef at this restaurant did not deliver
