I stayed in a room with pool access which also grants lounge access. I found the room to be pretty nice and clean, and being able to swim out to the pool bar was excellent. The staff is also very friendly but they seem a bit disjointed. However, I don't feel like this is on par with other Sofitel's at which I've stayed. The bathroom had a huge tub but no bath salts or soaps. The food was ok at best both in the dining area and in-room - a lot of variety though. The beachfront was entertaining but it's not a place to swim which was disappointing. This resort is also geared very much for families so there were noisy children everywhere including the in the lounge and along the rooms adjacent to the pool. Not really a place for grown families trying to relax or couples.
