I wish I could give negative stars, I wouldn't recommend this resort personally. The food was not good, it was pretty awful!! They do not cater towards allergies or food intolerances like their menu online boasts. They import all their food and it all has a bad artificial taste, even their drinks. The open bars were not top shelf (it was fake liquor), and they only sold one beer unless you paid extra and upgraded to preferred in which case then you could have a selection of two. The whole preferred thing was confusing and annoying, you pay $1700 for a trip to this resort and when you arrive you don t have full access to the restaurants and drink choices unless you pay more money? Bull. During the day you could only eat the buffet, preferred could eat at one restaurant and buffet.

Not a huge deal, but they didn't have robes or slippers or any extras in the room, we even tipped the cleaners. Basic hotels have these amenities. And you couldn't relax and sit on the beach or walk around the resort without being bombarded by extremely pushy people trying to sell something to you. Several of our company had bathroom issues on the trip, even though they did not drink the water, which I would contribute to the food. Luckily I didn't since I was barely eating anything. And the resort really didn't offer any activities that were inclusive, everything you had to pay for. The language barrier at the resort with staff was difficult, but I guess that is to be expected.

The island was very pretty, so the scenery gets an A plus. Also the company, the people we traveled with really made the trip.

The most enjoyable part of the trip was paying extra to go on the snorkeling/party boat cruise. I would highly recommend that.

Overall I never want to do an all inclusive trip again. It's really not my cup of tea.
