This review is a long one, but I can assure you guys it'll be worth your time. I had to make 2 shipments of about 40-60 packages to homes. I initially wanted to try USPS because I knew it would be cheaper. The package requirements were that I needed to have a tracking number for each package that I would then provide to each person that the package was being sent to. USPS told me that they could not provide me with the address in the tracking number. Only city and zip code. Well, this is useless if you're sending multiple packages to the same city and zip code, which was no good. In addition to that, I had to write out the addresses, which ate about 1-2 hours of my time. I went to this UPS and the guy helped me effortlessly. He provided me with specific tracking numbers, and email confirmations for each and every package. Which made forwarding tracking numbers even easier. For my second shipment, UPS was a no brainier. This time, I created a spreadsheet of names, and addresses. I forwarded the spreadsheet to the UPS guy, and he took care of it. Shipping has never been this easy. I am never going to USPS again, and in terms of pricing, each package here was 1-2 dollars more expensive than USPS, but I can definitely say it's worth it. Excellent customer service. The representative reached out to me everytime an error occurred due to my sloppy handwriting. I don't blame him. This is why creating a spreadsheet was a perfect solution for us both.
P.S. I also waited 45 minutes in line at the USPS, and less than 5 at the UPS store.
Update: So after my second, mass package drop off, there was a bit of confusion with one package. It was accidentally sent to the wrong person, which wasn't a big deal. We had the package sent to the correct person from there. However, in one of the packages I accidentally omitted the apartment number, and the package was returned to the UPS store due to lack of address information. I spoke with the UPS representative, and they informed me that I had to pay to ship it out again. I reminded the representative that, although it was my fault for forgetting the apartment number, they did send out a package to the wrong address. The representative was very reasonable, spoke to his manager, and waved the shipping fee due to their first initial error, which covered my error. Some of the best customer service available.
