I was involved in the most avoidable accident there is by being hit by a HCFC truck while I was already at a complete stop at a red light on Bammel and North Sam South Parkway West. The driver and managers that arrived on scene were nice people, but action needs to be taken to make sure this never happens again as a matter of safety for their tax payers. Whether it's properly inspecting their vehicles regularly for brakes, retiring older vehicles unfit for the road anymore, or better training their drivers I don't care what caused it but it should never happen again.

Meanwhile I've been going through the Harris County Commissioners Court and their Risk Management office to complete my claim and it has been nothing but a bureaucratic nightmare to get the repairs paid. As an hourly worker I have wasted alot of time and missed paid hours to fix this mess I was left and will be going on 2 months now driving around with a damaged rear while county risk management gives me their final hoops to jump through.
