The hotel is beautifully decorated, with a nautical theme. The staff were extremely friendly and relaxed, and remembered us every time we met. It was easy to relax in the hotel, and it seems that every aspect of the management was focused on making everything as simple and easy as possible.
The spa hosts a pool with plenty of seating, a jacuzzi, a sauna, and a steam room. The spa staff were calm and easy to chat with, and ensured you got the most out of your treatments.
The food at the restaurant was outstanding, with a good range of fresh seafood dishes. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
Our room had a lovely view, and the bed was very comfortable. The complimentary port and gin went down very well too.
The town of Salcombe is beautiful, and full of life. In particular, it's a great spot for dog-lovers, as most of the pubs and restaurants are dog-friendly.
